Pick-up from your accommodation in Auckland (not included in price of tour). Thames. Scenic drive on coastal road. Coromandel. Driving Creek Railway in the wild bush. Overnight on Coromandel Peninsula.

Waihi (goldmine). Katikati (kiwifruit orchard). Tauranga and Mount Maunganui beach. 2 nights in Rotorua.

Ohinemutu Village. Agrodome (sheep show). Lookout from Mount Ngongotaha. Native birds, incl. kiwi. Whakarewarewa geothermal reserve (geysers). Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Hangi (Maori lunch) and Maori concert. Afternoon free (many activities available). Second night in Rotorua.

Waimangu and Waiotapu geothermal valleys. Deer farm. Wairakei geothermal power station. Huka falls. Optional jet-boat ride. Craters of the Moon. Lake Taupo (biggest volcanic eruption). Overnight in comfortable farmstay.
