CAMPING & RIVER RAFTING TOUR
This tour is for the more adventurous traveler!
Accommodation is in spacious tents. Travel by 16-seater air-conditioned coach.
On this tour it would be expected of you to help with some minor tasks around the campsite. It is part of the adventure.
Day 1 THIPISE :
We depart at 11:30 from Johannesburg International airport and arrive later at Tshipise.
Here you become acquainted with you tents. Later you enjoy the facilities offered by this first class health and recreation resort and enjoy the abundance of bird life.
Day 2 GREAT ZIMBABWE MONUMENT:
We camp at lake Kyle, Zimbabwe’s largest dam. From here we visit the Great Zimbabwe Monument, the most important ruins south of the Sahara.
Day 3 & 4 NYANGA NATIONAL PARK:
We visit the Eastern Highlands with its spectacular views, waterfalls and many day hikes. Perhaps the Eastern Highlands are the most beautiful areas of Zimbabwe.
Day 5 CHINOYI CAVES:
We do a city tour of the capital city and then depart for Chinoyi National Park. The translucent blue water in the sleeping Pool inside the caves invites comparison with the Blue Grotto on Capri.
Day 6 & 7 MANA POOLS:
The wildest of the real African experience. Here one can game walk freely near your tent.
Day 8 & 9 KARIBA:
Lake Kariba is the world’s largest man-made lake. Today Kariba is the Riviera of Central Africa, playground of the rich and famous. A variety of cruises are available and game viewing from the boat is one of the most popular attractions of this area.
Day 10 & 11 VICTORIA FALLS:
Victoria Falls one of the most scenic and beautiful wonders of the world. Apart from the beauty of the Falls the area offers the best white-water rafting and the highest Bungi Jumping in the world which can be pre-booked – additional information and prices included in this fax. Many pubs, good shopping opportunities and a variety of cultural activities help to make your stay a pleasant surprise.
Day 12: HWANGE NATIONAL PARK:
We stay one night in Hwange, Zimbabwe’s most important national Park. Here we are able to see Lion, Elephant, Buffalo and other game in very big herds.
Day 13 & 14 MATOBOS NATIONAL PARK: After a city tour of Bulawayo – Zimbabwe’s lsecond largest city we visit the Matobos with its spectacular game life.
Day 15; TSHIPISE:
Our last night is at the resort with its mineral pools and numerous other facilities.
Day 16: Johannesburg:
We return late afternoon to Johannesburg where the tour ends.

VICTORIA FALLS - Canoe Safari – CHUNDU TRAIL
Day 1:
Pick up from a central city hotel at 7:00. Transfer via the Victoria Falls Bridge to the Zambezi River Camp for sundowners and dinner.
Day 2;
After breakfast you are met by your guide and briefed on the procedures of the tour.
Full day canoeing . Lunch is served. The tour ends back at the hotel at approx 17:00
