This 14 day safari is a mobile, wildlife observation, non-participation, camping style safari. Botswana hosts some of the biggest free roaming animal herds in Southern Africa which makes this safari a unique experience. You will visit the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Savuti, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls in Zambia.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrive in Maun by air or by road. Spend the night in a tented camp.

Day 2:
Depart for the Okavango Delta in 4X4 vehicles or by boat. Game viewing and bird watching can be done on the way to the next camp site.

Day 3:
Spend the day exploring the waterways of the Delta in dug-out canoes. The polers who are also professional guides will also take you on a walk to do game viewing on foot.

Day 4:
This day will be spent hiking. The duration of the hike will depend on the preference of the group. Here you will also be accompanied by a professional guide.

Day 5:
This is a rest day. Short walks and bird watching can be done around the camp.

Day 6:
Leave by vehicle for the Moremi Game Reserve. Spend the night at South Gate camp site.

Day 7:
After breakfast leave on a game drive to the next camp site at Xaxanaka Lagoon in the Moremi Game Reserve.

Day 8:
Spend the day doing early morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 9:
Leave Xaxanaka for Kwai campsite. Spend 2 nights at this campsite in the Moremi.

Day 10:
Leave for Savuti. Savuti is an arid area in the southern part of the Chobe Game Reserve. This makes for interesting game viewing and a different landscape.

Day 11:
Explore Savuti. Early morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 12:
Leave Savuti for the Chobe Game Reserve. Here you will camp at Kasane which is a small town next to the Chobe National Park.

Early morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise into the Chobe National Park.

Leave for Livingstone in Zambia to visit the Victoria Falls. End of Safari.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
The above quoted price is for our basic camping safari. You can also choose to stay in a lodge or hotel in the main towns such as Maun and Kasane. Prices for these options are available on request. A non-refundable deposit will be required when booking is made. The balance will be required 30 days before commencement of safari. These safaris are now operated on fixed date departures. It is therefore necessary to contact us well in advance of your intended departure date.
