The specialized service takes kayak touring a step beyond with almost 1:1 guide/guest ratio. Sail to the best destinations including tide water glaciers & remote wilderness bays. Sea kayak in icebergs or hike scenic hillsides. Enjoy comfortable sleeping and lounging areas and the finest foods prepared by the cook. All inclusive and no experience needed.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Meet at the Pangaea Adventures shop for an introductory lesson on sea kayaking. Climb Aboard and meet the captain and cook. We'll spend the first day cruising to Shoup Glacier State Park and enjoy an afternoon of kayaking up to the glacier. First night in Sawmill Bay State Park. (L/D).
Day 2: wake up to fresh muffins and coffee. We are going to cruise out to kayak with the sea lions. An exciting paddle with hundreds of playful sea lions and a beautiful picnic lunch. In the afternoon we take a short hike up Glacier Island to View Columbia Glacier. (B/L/D).
Day 3: Wake up for an early start toward Eagle falls. A great place to spend the afternoon walking around and enjoying the relaxing times aboard the sailboat. We set anchor right at the base of the falls. (B/L/D).
Day 4: We will cruise to Meares Glacier where we can sail right up to the face. An afternoon kayak is always fun with harbor seals all around. (B/L/D).
Day 5: Moving on to Heather Bay and Columbia Glacier. An exciting day with spectacular views. We get to paddle through the towering icebergs of Columbia Glacier, Alaska's largest tide water glacier. We spend the evening in a beautiful secluded cove. (B/L/D).
Day 6: Wake up for an early morning paddle before the cruise back to Valdez. We try to make the best of the day while still making it back to town by early afternoon. (B/L).

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
Price is based on boat cost. 1-4 guests is $1600 a day. with 4 guests the price is $400 per day per person. If there are only 2 guests the price is $800 per person per day. $350 per guest per day for groups over 4 guests.
