Our tour of Morocco's Imperial cities of Fez, Meknes, Rabat, and Marrakesh is a true journey through more than two thousand years of history. We've enhanced our tour with additional stops in Volubilis, a site filled with beautiful mosaics among the Roman ruins, Moulay Idriss, the birthplace of Islam in Morocco, and Casablanca, a modern commercial center.
You'll stay in luxurious palaces, called "Riads", in the old Medinas of each city you visit. Here, you'll find a style of life that is almost unchanged since medieval times. You'll also receive guided tours of the monuments and famous sites that are in each city.
You'll experience the daily commercial life of the Medina as your guide leads you through the labyrinthine souks, enjoy a private Hammam (Moroccan steam bath), and have dinner in a private home. You'll enjoy a first-class train journey through the countryside to Casablanca, experience the thrill of a sunset camel ride in the vast palm grove of Marrakesh, and truly get to know both the people and the country of Morocco.
