Experienced travelers know that to truly discover a country you must know the language. We've developed a fascinating program that will give you an in-depth perspective on the Moroccan culture, language, and daily life.
First, you'll learn to communicate in both French and Arabic, the two most common languages in Morocco. You'll have daily lessons and special times each day when ONLY the native languages are allowed. This can be a challenging experience, but one that will certainly increase your knowledge.
You'll share an accommodation in one of the old Moroccan homes, called "riads". Plus, your riad, a virtual palace, will be located in the heart of the Medinas of the cities that you will visit. You'll find many aspects of daily life here almost unchanged for centuries.
You'll gain new friends and a better understanding of Moroccan culture through visits to private homes, discussions with artisans and workers, and special in-depth tours of various sites in Marakesh and Fez.
Finally, you'll learn to shop for and cook a variety of Moroccan specialties, practice centuries-old crafts, and even write a bit of elaborate Arabic script.
