Itinerary Day 1 Join Cairo. 2 In Cairo, visit Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum. 3 Drive to Luxor; board Nile riverboat. 4 In Luxor; explore Karnak Temple. 5 Donkey trek to the Valley of the Kings. Sail to Edfu via Esna lock. 6 Visit Edfu temple; sail on to Kom Ombo. 7 Sail to Aswan; optional camel trek to St Simeon's Monastery. 8 In Aswan optional visit to Abu Simbel. 9 Train to Luxor. 10 End Luxor.
