Spend 3 days/2 nights on a Canoe Tour on the Upper Missouri River, Wild & Scenic section, of Montana. Primitive camping, floating river, viewing Lewis & Clark lore and steamboat, Native American history. Spend a fourth day on the Charlie Russell Choo Choo, complete with elegant dinner and entertainment, as you travel 56 miles through the Wild West country of Montana. Three nights lodging provided at motel, 2 nights tent camping while on river.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Shuttle to river, view Native American Tipi rings, view wildlife on Missouri river. Paddling canoes and canoe catamarans. Learn about Lewis & Clarks journey where they camped. Camp out, with primitive tent camps. Campfire entertainment complete with western singing.

Day 2:
Visit Native American petrogliphs, hiking at Eagle Creek campground, light rock climbing to Eye-of the Needle, view old homesteads. Paddling on river in canoes. Set up primitive tent camp and campfire entertainment.

Day 3:
Hiking to Hole-in-the-Wall, viewing old homesteads, viewing wildlife, canoeing on river, shuttle back to Lewistown and to provided motel.

Day 4:
Spend the day shopping in Lewistown, Montana. That evening you will be provided with a train ride aboard the Charlie Russell train on a 56 mile roundtrip journey through Montana's wild western country. Enjoy a fine dinner aboard the train, as well as surprise entertainment. Return to Lewistown to your provided motel.
