- Day 1
Arrive (Sunday) St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada - the new world's first city. We meet you at the airport, take you to our well-situated hotel and give you a brief holiday overview. Relax or explore the nearby city sites. Tomorrow the adventure begins. Note: these holidays start every Sunday from June 3 to August 13.
- Day 2
Depart St. John's for a 2.5 hour boat trip around North America's largest puffin colony. Whales, murres, razorbills, kittiwakes, and more marine wildlife are also usually seen. In fact these waters are the summertime home of the world's largest gathering of humpback whales. Many other whales are typically seen. After lunch we visit Baltimore's first colony (before he went on to Maryland) before returning to St. John's.

- Day 3
Whales, members of the world's most southerly caribou herd, icebergs (usually only in June), a tern colony, a lighthouse, the first North American landfall of the Mayflower, and more are featured. In July we usually highlight a whale feeding beach where the humpbacks lunge out of the ocean less than 10 feet away. Travel to picturesque St. Brides for the night.

- Day 4
Explore North America's 3rd largest gannet colony. Tens of thousands of other seabirds and their eggs or chicks are also featured. Birders will be thrilled by the world's most southerly thick-billed murres. Stop in at an old French fort, visit one of our secret orchid patches, and view the old French Capital before travelling on to Terra Nova National Park.

- Day 5
Today we spend a relaxing day in land exploring the park trails, bird watching, and looking for moose, osprey, orchids, eagles, and more. Opportunities to sea kayak or to visit ancient aboriginal sites are also available. Overnight in Terra Nova.

- Day 6
Examine Newfoundland's marine ecology on a morning-long excursion into the sheltered fjords of Terra Nova. Eagles, icebergs, whales, seals, terns, and more are on our list of things to look for before we return to St. John's for the weekend. Enjoy Friday night out on the town of the new world's first city or catch up on some rest.

- Day 7
Visit North America's most easterly point and explore the new world's first city. We also journey out on to the North Atlantic in search of more whales and seabirds before further exploring the trails, museums, coastline, and woodlands around old St. John's. There are many wonderful choices available for this evening's entertainment including theatre, concerts, folk festivals, and more. You can take the time to explore these options on your own or join some travelling companions for a last evening's celebration of your shared adventure.
