Your Itinerary:
Days 1-2 - Arrive Mahe, Seychelles - Bird Island
Arrive on Mahe this morning and connect to your scheduled flight to Bird Island, a birders paradise. Your lodge’s 24 cottages nestle among palms, a short stroll from the bird colony, with the beaches just a few paces away. Each intimate cottage is approx. 690 square feet and has a king bed, shower, lounge, and a terrace overlooking the garden and the sea. Central facilities include a restaurant, lounge with billiards, and a library. Snorkeling and deep-sea fishing occupy the time when not out bird watching or lazing on the beaches. Bird Island Lodge. Days 3-5 - La Digue
After breakfast you fly back to Mahe and connect to a 15-minute flight to neighboring Praslin. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the jetty for the ferry to La Digue. The island is famous for its Creole architecture, large, smooth boulders, and the famous Source d’Argent beach, a photographer’s dream. The hotel is completely built with local woods and there are several types of accommodations from beachfront suites and adorable A-frame cottages to rooms in a restored plantation house. All expected resort amenities are available, plus a thatched roof restaurant on the beach (don’t bother wearing shoes to dinner!). The island's only dive shop is here, next to the lively pool and beach. A lovely shady walk takes you to Anse Source d’Argent, the named by many as the most beautiful beach in the world. Days 6-8 - Praslin
You take the ferry back to Praslin and are transferred to your beach resort. You have three days at leisure to enjoy the amenities of your resort or go on an optional tour to explore the island, which is famous for the Coco de Mer, Vanilla Orchids, endemic lizards, and the black parrot. Your 28-room sumptuous hotel is named for the South African acajou (mahogany), which was used to build it. The rooms are air-conditioned, very spacious and all have balconies facing the turquoise sea. The ambiance reminds you of tree houses in a wooded grove. Day 9 - Mahe - Depart
