Day 1:
Arrival in Avignon; Free time to discover the narrow streets of Avignon.

Day 2:
At the source of the river Sorgue: After breakfast, you are transferred by taxi with your bike to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the famous village of antiquaries where you can take your time along the river. Then on the first day of riding, visit the village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse where you can take a nice break on a cafe terrace. Arrival in Gordes. Night and dinner at your hotel.

Day 3:
Through the Monts of Luberon and its perched villages : Joucas, Roussillon, Bonnieux . On this morning, you ride to Lourmarin. You arrive at your charming hotel and installation. Then visit one of the most beautiful chateau in Provence of Lourmarin and visit the park with its Italian landscaping style.

Day 4:
Discovery of the Aix countryside: Today, you ride on the other branch of the Durance River and discover the Aix-en-Provence area. You will have time to visit the renowned “Cite aux Cent Fontaines”, capital of the Provence, city of water and art with its shaded streets on the footsteps of the famous French writer Zola or the local painter Cezanne. Installation in your charming hotel in the heart of Aix. Night at the hotel.

Departure day after breakfast
Option: extend this tour by 1 day; add a second night in Gordes for night 3; day 4 then can be a 50km ride to the ochre mines around Roussillon and back.
