Commencing in Cape Town, includes Cape of Good Hope, Winelands, Little Karoo, Garden Route, Lesotho, Kwa Zulu Natal, Swaziland, Kruger Park, departing from Johannesburg.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer to Guesthouse - Orientation of Cape Town. Welcome dinner at Africa Café. Overnight Guesthouse CT. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 2: Full Peninsula Tour - Atlantic seaboard to Hout Bay. (Optional Seal Island boat trip), Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Nature Reserve, the Penguin colony. Overnight Guesthouse CT. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 3: Winelands tour, a visit to a wine estate for a cellar tour and wine tasting. En route visit the "real" people of Africa in a Township. Then visit Stellenbosch, (second oldest town in SA), Franschhoek (where the first French Huguenot settled.). Overnight in Montagu. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 4: Travel to Oudtshoorn - capital of the little Karoo, & world capital of the Ostrich Industry. Visit to Cango Caves, world renowned for it's calcite formations. Visit an Ostrich Farm, where you have the opportunity to ride the biggest flightless bird in the world. Visit to Crocodile Ranch optional. Overnight - la Plume Guest house. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 5: Travel to George, visit the Wilderness Lake District then to Knysna for a boat cruise on the lagoon and lunch on the John Benn Ferry. Overnight Guesthouse Knysna. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 6: Full day sightseeing/shopping in Knysna. Overnight Guesthouse Knysna. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 7: Travel through the Rain Forests and Tsitsikamma National Park, to Addo. Overnight Addo Elephant House. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8: Visit the Addo Elephant Park. Addo Elephant National Park supports about 200 elephants in addition to Cape buffalo, black rhino, kudu and over 180 bird species.Addo Elephant Park. Overnight Cradock. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 9: Travel to Malealea Lodge in Lesotho. Pronounced (le-soo-too) this country has high, cool mountains and sub tropical lowveld. The capital, Maseru is westernised but the rest of this country is rural with large stretches of still wild country designated as nature reserves. Overnight Lesotho. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 10: From Malealea Lodge to Montusi Mountain Lodge in the Drakensberg. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 11: On to the Historical battlefields in KZN. Battlefields include the brooding and emotive site at Isandlwana, where in defence of their homeland, the Pride of the Zulu Nation defeated Queen Victoria's regiments. Overnight Kwa Zulu. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 12: Tour to the Battlefields with specialist guide. Overnight Kwa Zulu. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 13: Cross the border to Swaziland - Sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Africa, the country has magnificent mountain scenery with unique, ancient rock formations which are a source of fascination for geologists and scholars. Overnight Swaziland. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 14: Departure for Kruger National Park – Skukuza. This is the largest rest camp and also the operational and administrative headquarters of the park. The rest camp is situated in the southern part of the park on the bank of the Sabie River. Skukuza. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 15: Full day in Kruger National Park, Game Drives with Ranger. Skukuza. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 16: Leave for Pilgrims Rest. This is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular scenic routes in South Africa. Sabie, Mac Mac falls, Graskop, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondawels, and the Blyde River Canyon. Overnight Pilgrims Rest. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 17: A Scenic drive through the Eastern Transvaal to Pretoria. Overnight in Pretoria. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 18: City tour with specialist Guide. Evening return flight from Johannesburg International Airport. Includes: (B), (L).
