A unique chance to see four different nature sanctuaries of Primorsky in one week, watch Siberian tigers and rare birds. We will traverse varied terrain from mountain forests to shallow lake Khanka, the largest in Eastern Russia which is the summer home to hundreds of bird species.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
We take a ride from Vladivostok north to the scenic Blagodantnoye Lake in Sikhote-Alin Biosphere Sanctuary. Overnight in a comfortable lodge.

Day 2:
We can take the morning to hear wildlife researchers speak on conservation projects, and go to Blagodatnoye Lake to watch thousands of migratory birds resting in passage This remote area is rich with wildlife, so we may get to see tigers, deer and wildboars at a distance. We will also see a basking ground of larga seals near Northern Cape.

Day 3:
We ride to Lake Khanka, the natural habitat of far eastern tortoise, Chinese perch, lotus and hevrilla, taking our hot lunch on the road.

Day 4:
We spend a full day in Khanka Sanctuary, watching birds and gearing insightful comment of local researchers working for the sanctuary.

Day 5:
After breakfast we travel 40 km to where wildlife researcher Victor Yudin is taking care of a family of Siberian tigers. We take a 2-hour ride to Ussuriysky Sanctuary, which is one of the rarest places of primeval taiga untouched by man, which is still home of rare and endemic species like the Siberian tiger, snow leopard, mandarin duck and the Black stork. After a long day of wildlife watching, we return to Vladivostok

Day 6:
We ride to Lazo Sanctuary ti meet leading scientists who share with us their knowledge f the area and its wildlife experience. We will take a close-up view of the natural wilderness habitat of the Siberian tiger. Overnight at Lazo.

Day 7:
After breakfast we sail to Petrov Island where we can enjoy a full day of swimming and fishing in a unique combination of a semitropical forests, natural flower garden and a pebbly beach where seals are resting. In spring and autumn we can watch majestic whales floating nearby. Dinner at Lazo before we take our ride back to Vladivostok
