Your Itinerary
Day 1: Moab
We begin our journey on mountain bikes into the heart of Canyon Country on the Monitor and Merrimac trail, looping around several buttes and monoliths, with views into Arches National Park and Seven-Mile Canyon. (D).
Day 2: Canyonlands
Deep into the outback of Canyonlands National Park, we follow a footpath past soaring monuments and spectacular amphitheaters full of colorful pinnacles. More adventurous? The Joint Trail follows a stretch of connecting deep, narrow crevices--some only two to three feet wide within a massive rock expanse. (B/L/D).
Day 3: Medieval Canyon
Experience a day of introductory canyoneering in Medieval Canyon under the care of exceptional instructors. This is one of the most spectacular settings for rappelling to be found anywhere in the world! (B/L/D).
Day 4: Colorado River - Arches or Fisher Towers
Jump into inflatable kayaks or rafts on the Colorado River and hike to Fisher Towers, the setting for several western movies. (B/L/D).
Day 5: Moab
Strap on a climbing harness for an introduction to the sport of rock climbing. Learn the basics in the morning--equipment, terminology, and belaying--and then progress to several basic climbs. (B/L/D).
Day 6: Arches
Explore slickrock grottoes and narrow slot canyons in the mysterious Fiery Furnace and then switch to mountain bikes for some fun slickrock riding on the way to Tower Arch. (B/L).
