This tour offers you 5 days of pure indulgence in golf, fine cuisine, and great wines right in the heart of Bordeaux.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Upon arrival in Bordeaux (St. Jean Train Station/Merignac Airport), you will be driven to Chateau Meyre, where a welcome lunch will be served. You will be then taken on a private visit of the estate followed by a tasting of selected vintages of the wines made at Chateau Meyre (Haut-Medoc & Margaux). Thanks to the proximity of a beautiful 36-hole golf course, you will have time for 9-holes and a bit of practice before getting ready & head to Margaux village for dinner. (B) (L) (D)
Day 2: After breakfast, departure to the Golf du Medoc, a short drive from Chateau Meyre, for 18 holes. After golf, lunch in a traditional local restaurant followed by a guided tour of the Medoc vineyard in a private deluxe minibus and a visit & tasting of a 1st growth wine estate (Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Chateau Latour or Chateau Margaux). You will have dinner in one of the most renown restaurants in Beychevelles (Saint Julien). (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: After breakfast, departure to the medieval village of St-Emilion, for a guided tour followed by a visit & tasting of Canon La Gaffeliere or Beausejour-Becot. After lunch, in a bistro style restaurant, explore the local boutiques to dig out some exceptional souvenirs & rare bottles of wine. By mid-afternoon, the guide will drive you to the city of Bordeaux, to tour the historic parts & to experience a first class meal in one of the most famous dining place of this grand city. Day 4: In the morning, after breakfast, you'll start off the day by a round of golf followed by lunch at the Golf Clubhouse, overlooking the course. After lunch, you'll leave for a tour of the Arcachon Bay, where you'll board a boat to explore the famous oyster beds of the area. After this exciting day out on the water, you'll head back to Chateau Meyre for a memorable farewell dinner in the elegant red dining room. (B) (L) (D)
Day 5: In the morning, after a relaxing breakfast, it will be time to head back to the airport/or station. (B) (L) (D)
