This tour includes four (4) nights at El Velero Beach Hotel or Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort, three (3) days of diving, and a Half-Day tour to Los Inocentes Wildlife Refuge with two (2) nights at Arenal Volcano that includes Tree-Top Canopy tour and Whitewater Rafting, and one (1) night in San Jose (Last night in San Jose can be changed for another hotel or another drop-off point, rates will be adjusted accordingly).
With this package, groups of six or more can pre-book two- and three-tank dives to the Bat and Catalina Islands or a two-tank combination all day fishing trip (at additional charge).
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive San Jose or Liberia, Costa Rica and transfer to Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort. Overnight Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort. (B,L,D).
Day 2: Morning two-tank local boat dive. Free time after diving to relax and enjoy Playa Hermosa area. (B,L,D).
Days 3: Morning two-tank local boat dive (please do not plan a long-range trip on this day).
Afterwards – trip to Los Inocentes Wildlife Refuge, Horseback riding with a good oportunity to see three types of monkeys, sloths, toucans and more. Great dinner on the veranda looking over the beautiful countryside. Very nice large swimming pool for relaxing before dinner. (B,L,D).
Day 4: Morning two-tank local boat dive. Relax and enjoy area. (B,L,D).
Day 5: Arenal Volcano. Hot Springs Resort, Bathe in the thermal waters and walk in the gorgeous gardens at the base of the volcano. Wonderful buffet dinner with a view of the volcano and the red lava flow. For your accommodations in the Arenal Area we offer Tabacon Resort, Volcano Lodge, Arenal Lodge, Arenal Observatory, Montana de Fuego, Arenal Country Inn or other comparable first class hotels. (B,L,D).
Day 6: White water rafting trip on Rio Sarapiqui. It is possible to book the Rio Pacuare instead of the Rio Sarapiqui (considered by rafters to be one of the world’s top 10 rivers with Class IV rapids). Visit Tabacon Hot Springs buffet dinner and an enjoyable evening of hot pools, cold pools and the beautiful gardens at the base of Arenal Volcano. (B,L,D).
Day 7: Trip to San Jose to see a waterfall and the coffee fields. Free time – ask your reservations agent for recommendations. Overnight San Jose hotel. (B,L,D).
Day 8: Departure from airport or continue on your vacation. (B).
