Your Itinerary
Day 1:
ITINERARY: (Minimum 2 persons)
Day 1 Ubud
08:30 Depart from your hotel in Nusa Dua, Sanur or Kuta. First stop in the village of Batubulan, famous on the island for its stone carvers. Continue to Batuan, the village of arts, crafts, legends and tales. Visit the main temple and take a walk through the village. Proceed to Ubud for lunch. In the afternoon follows a visit to the Agung Rai Museum of Art and the 11th Century Gunung Kawi temple, “the mountain of the poet”. Overnight in Pertiwi Bungalows in Ubud.
Day 2:
Day 2 Ubud – Candi Dasa (B)
08:30 The entire morning is dedicated to the Ubud area, following one of our own special trails through the ricefields. Alternatively it is possible to go on an optional rafting trip on the Ayung river. After lunch departure to the Karangasem Regency in east Bali. Stop at one of the traditional “ ikat weaving” workshops and the Kerta Gosa Hall of Justice in the town of Semarapura, formerly also known as Klungkung. Then follows a visit to the Goa Lawah Bat Cave near the fishing village of Kusamba. We check you in for two nights in Hotel Rama Candi Dasa.

Day 3:
Day 3 Candi Dasa and surroundings (B)
09:00 Depart for a trip around the fascinating eastern tip of Bali. Pass through the provincial capital of Amlapura. After a brief stop at the remnants of the former palace complex in the village of Ujung, the coastal route around Mount Seraya will be followed. On the way back, drive past beautiful rice terraces and take a dip at the spring fed pools of Tirtagangga, a complex built by the former king of Karangasem. There will be a final visit to the village of Tenganan, considered to be the “oldest” on the island. Overnight again in Candi Dasa.

Day 4:
Day 4 Candi Dasa – Lovina (B)
08:00 Early morning departure crossing the volcanic range to the northwestern part of the island. Pass through the villages of Bebandem and Selat, while circling around Mount Agung. Stop in Putung for the panorama over the eastern bay. Visit the holiest “Mother Temple” of Besakih. Follow the ridge to Mount Batur and visit the Kintamani volcano with its crater lake. Descend towards the north coast and after a brief stop at the temple of Sangsit and a look around the former capital Singaraja, the night will be spent in Lovina Beach at the Aneka Lovina Hotel.

Day 5:
Day 5 Lovina – Munduk (B)
09:00 Depart from your hotel to the north-western tip of Bali and spend the morning snorkeling at Pulau Menjangan, part of the West Bali National Park and a true underwater treasure trove. In the course of the afternoon, turn back to the east, then inland at Seririt, to reach the village of Munduk, one of Bali’s hidden secrets. Stay at Puri Lumbung.

Day 6:
Day 6 Munduk – Badung Regency (B)
08:00 Spend the day exploring the splendid valley of Munduk and Lake Tamblingan. In the course of the afternoon, departure for the return to the south of Bali. Stop at the Candi Kuning Temple on Lake Beratan and the local fruit market of Bedugul. Return to your hotel in Sanur, Kuta or Nusa Dua, or proceed straight to the airport.
