The Al Areen Wildlife Sanctuary is situated near the shoreline in the south of the island of Bahrain. Herds of Arabian mammals such as the Arabian Oryx and the Reem Gazelle inhabit the reserve, which also attracts at least 15 species of resident birds and over 80 migratory species. Visitors can take scheduled buses with guides to enjoy a professional tour of the park.
