| Explore the museum of Swedish-American arts, culture and history in the American Swedish Institute. Founded in 1929, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by Swedish immigrant newspaper publisher Swan Turnblad, the museum is housed within the 1904 former Turnblad mansion - a 33-room castle with turrets, gargoyles, hand carved woodwork, and 11 porcelain tile stoves from Sweden. Exhibits include Swedish glass, fine art, textiles, and explore immigrant life. |
