The lovely Basilica of St Martin dominates the skyline of old town Bonn and has featured on the city emblem for centuries. The current construction is still overwhelmingly Rhenish Romanesque in style despite later Gothic additions. The latter blends in very harmoniously with the original, as do the mainly late baroque interior furnishings.
