Beomeosa, nestled at the eastern skirt of the mountain Geumjeongsan, is well-known as one of the most famous great Buddhist temples in Korea. On the left side of the entrance to Beomeosa, there is a colony of more than 500 wisteria vines, more than 100 years old, which is designated as Natural Monument No. 176. Since the view of the vicinity is famous for its beauty and quietness, many visitors crowd this temple. The temple has lots of cultural properties and treasures.
