| The museum “Bergbaumuseum” was furnished into the former hard-coal mine “Kaiserin- Augusta- Schacht” (from 1946: “Karl- Liebknecht- Schacht”). After the shut- down of the mine, traditional miners built up the museum from 1976, After a working period of 10 years, the museum was opened on 4 th July in 1986 at the special day “Bergmannstag” (day of the miners). Since them, many visitors, who are interested in mining, technology or history come into the museum. |
