| Burnaby Lake Regional Park, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, is a sprawling city oasis and a Burnaby gem. And amazingly enough, it was created 12,000 years ago by a glacier. Today, the park is home to a wildlife sanctuary with blue herons, bald eagles, belted kingfishers and rare green-backed herons. There are several trails that circle the park, giving you a great opportunity to exercise, enjoy the fresh air and possibly get a glimpse of the rare wildlife that make the park their home. |
