Cape Wrath is a cape in Sutherland, Highland, in northern Scotland. It is the most northwesterly point on the island of Great Britain. The stone-towered lighthouse at Cape Wrath was built by Robert Stevenson in 1827 and stands 120 meters above cliffs facing the Atlantic Ocean. Apart from the lighthouse tower itself, the building is constructed from granite quarried at nearby Clash Carnoch.
