The collection of Van Sypesteyn is to be admired in the museum. It is one of the richest private collections in the Netherlands. The collection consists of familyportrets, porcelain, clocks, silver, glass and sculptures. Porcelain holds an important place in the museum, not only Chinese porcelain but also porcelain made in Germany and Holland during the 18th century. A special place is reserved for porcelain made in Loosdrecht. This exquisitely painted porcelain was manufactured during ten years only. One can admire a table set with the best pieces of a dinner set, which consists of 120 pieces in total.
