| Located on the outskirts of Little Falls, Minnesota, Charles A. Lindbergh State Park offers quiet picnic grounds and 7 miles of scenic trails. Eagles, hawks and owls can often be seen along the river and in the surrounding forests. The original vegetation consisted of pine forest with oak and grassland openings. Today, the forest is comprised oak, with some aspen and conifers. Across the street on the banks of the Mississippi River is the boyhood home of the famous aviator. |
