Chateau de Val

Locally it is known as Château de Val. It is situated near the village of Lanobre, north of the town of Bort-les-Orgues in the Auvergne region in France. The castle lies on a small peninsula in an artificial lake. The lake is a reservoir for the Bort-les-Orgues dam which was build in 1951.
