Cream o` Galloway is based at Rainton, a 329 hectare farm lying amongst the rolling hills of Galloway. It has been run by the Finlay family since 1927. The farm has a dairy herd and sheep and has recently converted to an organic system. The visitor centre and creamery opened in 1994. The farm offers visitors nature trails, cycle hire, playgrounds, farm tours and a tearoom that sells their own ice-cream. It attracts some 60,000 visitors per year.
