| The Des Moines Art Center is not like most museums you may have been led to before. The center features artwork, but unlike most, the Art Center is a piece of art in itself. It was built in the 1940`s by three incredible architects. The museum features several permanent pieces, but it is the exhibitions, which are completely booked years in advance, that are most impressive. For locals or history-buffs, there is a special section devoted completely to Iowan artists. |
