Disneyland Resort Paris is a holiday and recreation resort in Marne-la-Vallee, 32 kilometres east of Paris, France. The complex features two theme parks, an entertainment district and seven resort hotels. Operating since April 12, 1992, it was the second Disney resort to open outside the United States. With 12.4 million visitors in 2004,12.8 million visitors in 2006 it is one of Europe`s leading tourist destinations.
