Fayette State Park is a historic townsite in Michigan, that once manufactured charcoal pig iron between 1867 and 1891. Fayette is on the shores of Lake Michigan and has remnants from buildings as well as restored buildings. Fayette is an interesting look back in time to this industrial era in the Upper Peninsula.
