This ancient fort on the Caribbean coast is close to the entrance to the Panama Canal, on an isolated windswept promontory over the azure sea. Due to attacks by pirates (among them Sir Francis Drake and Henry Morgan) as well as British admirals, the Fort had crumbled three times by 1740. What you`ll see today are the incredible remains of the structure the Spaniards built in 1761, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
