| The Franklin Park Zoo, in Boston, Massachusetts, is operated by Zoo New England, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to teach wildlife and wildland preservation through conservation programs, education, live exhibits and research. Highlights include the Kalahari Kingdom of lions, the Bongo Congo grasslands, where zebras and ostrich roam, and kangaroos, wallabies, emu and cockatoos hang out along the Outback Trail. The Tropical Forest is home to gorillas with bats, tapirs and warthogs next door. |
