The Funen Village is an open air museum which shows what a village would have been like in the days of Hans Christian Andersen. There are some 30 buildings which have all been moved here from other places on Fyn and the islands. Visiting the museum is like stepping back into the 1800s. A village has been recreated with half-timbered houses, flower gardens, hedges, a pond and a street, all surrounded by cultivated fields.
