Gorumara National Park is located in the Dooars plains in North Bengal. Famous for its natural population of the Great Indian one horned Rhinoceros this small forest area was declared a wildlife sanctuary in the year 1949. Gorumara comprising 80 km of diverse forests was converted into a National Park, in the year 1992 for the protection of its flora and fauna.
