| Greenwood Furnace State Park, in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, is a great place to visit for the whole family. In addition to a full range of outdoor recreational activities such as swimming, hiking, camping, and picnicking, the park offers exhibits, research opportunities, and historical activities related to the 70-year-period when a complete iron-making community was located on what is now park land. Exhibits, demonstrations, and an introductory video make the Visitor Center the place to begin a visit.
