Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located in Santa Cruz County, California. This park features 15 miles of hiking and riding trails through a forest that looks nearly the same as it did 200 years ago. Zayante Indians once lived in the area, where they found shelter, water and game. The park is the home of the Redwood Grove, and features a self-guided nature path, Douglas fir, madrone, oak and a stand of Ponderosa pine.
