| The High Museum of Art is the primary art museum in Atlanta, Georgia. The museum is a division of the Woodruff Arts Center, which also includes the Alliance Theater, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Young Audiences and the 14th Street Playhouse. Since the High expanded in 2006, it has become not only Atlanta`s premier art museum, but a national and international destination for art. The "village for the arts" has more than doubled the museum`s size and allowed an enormous increase in display space and capabilities. Educational and exhibition programs have increased, in addition to the quality of services offered to visitors, making the High the number one art museum in the Southeast. |
