| Opened in 1964, the Indianapolis Zoo offers an array of exotic and domestic animals within its park. Consisting of different world regions and bioms including the forest, waters, deserts, plains, and the opportunity to touch and interact with animals inside the encounters biome. Each of these are very unique and consist of their own specific breads. The forest biome involves animals such as kodiak bears, many bird types, tigers, lemurs and bald eagles. Waters include the dolphin exhibit, sea lions, fish of many types and the amazing sea horses that are currently there. |
