The Jefferson Memorial Forest is a forest located in southwest Louisville, Kentucky. The nation's largest municipal urban forest, with 6,057 acres offers hiking, camping, fishing, horse trails, a 52-ft climbing tower, retreat facilities and environmental programs for the entire family. The forest was established as a tribute to Kentucky's veterans, and was designated as a National Audubon Society wildlife refuge.
