| Kasanka National Park is unique in Zambia and unusual in Africa in that it is privately managed. The Kasanka Trust was set up in the late 1980s, with the trust being registered in Zambia in 1987, and in the UK in 1989. The Trust aims to make the park self-sustaining and secure the biodiversity of Kasanka National Park. It offers brilliant angling opportunities, and bird watchers come here to see vast numbers of birds, not usually found in Southern Africa. |
