Home to the kings of Hanover, Leineschloss was originally built in 1690 and has been added to and altered regularly since then. It has also served as the seat of the state parliament of Lower Saxony. Next to the River Leine, the building was rebuilt after allied bombing in the war and serves a fascinating insight into the ever-changing face of the city.
