The Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz is one of the most important museums of modern and contemporary art in Austria. The museum possesses a collection of 1300 paintings, sculptures and objects, over 9500 drawings, watercolours and works of graphic art, as well as a catalogue and poster collection. The collection also includes 600 original pen drawings of the artist Kubin, who died in 1959. This "Kubin Cabinett" is the third largest collection of his works in the world.
