Mohawk Trail State Forest is located in Charlemont, Massachusetts. In this rustic and natural setting, visitors can get a sense of what it was like when Native Americans inhabited the area. In addition to its 56 campsites, the forest has 6 overnight log cabins. Mohawk Trail has over 18 miles of rivers and streams for excellent trout fishing, a swimming area, and a day use picnic area. This is one of the most scenic woodland areas of Massachusetts.
