Multnomah Falls is located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. This 620-foot cascade of water stands as the second highest year-round waterfall in United States. It's created by natural springs and melting snows from Larch Mountain. The water flow changes seasonally, from the roaring cascade of spring to an icy trickle midwinter. Stand at the bottom of the falls to feel the misty splendor or hike the paved trail to Benson Bridge for a close-up view.
