| The Museo Poldi Pezzoli is a art museum in Milan, northern Italy. Site in the centre of the city, it has works by Sandro Botticelli, Antonio Pollaiolo, Giovanni Bellini, Michelangelo, Gaudenzio Ferrari, Filippo Lippi, Andrea Mantegna, Palma the Elder, Bernardo Cavallino, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Lorenzo Bartolini and other. The exhibition includes as weaponry, glassworks, ceramics, goldworks and others. The museum was originated in the 19th century as private collection of Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli and his mother, Rosa Trivulzio, of the family of the condottiero Gian Giacomo Trivulzio. |
