| National Park Kopaonik was founded and proclaimed in 1981, it covers an area of 11.800 ha, and has a protecting belt of 19.986 ha, 689 ha of the wildlife refuge is under special protection, in 13 natural reservates (areas), 26 natural monuments, 17 geomorphologic, 6 geologic, 8 hidrologic and 15 objects classified in inmovable cultural goods. National Park Kopaonik represents the region protected by the law and exactly restricted area which keeps its natural condition, and protect its own animal and plant species, its relief and another natural rareties. |
