Founded in 1976 as a traveling workshop, the Omaha Children's Museum, Nebraska, has grown into a special place where children can challenge themselves, discover how the world works, and learn through play. It is Omaha's only participatory museum, a place where children and adults can learn and play together. The Museum provides an ever-changing series of interactive exhibits, workshops, and special events. It serves the entire community as well as school groups and a large minority audience.
