It originates in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids and then flows through Ostravice, Frydlant nad Ostravici, Frydek-Mistek and Paskov to Ostrava where it enters the Oder as its right tributary. It partly forms the border between historical regions Moravia and Czech Silesia. |
