| The Taranco Palace, in the North flank, was the first montevideana residence palace; it is located in front of Plaza Zabala and was residence of the brothers Ortiz de Taranco. Beautiful and rich alhajada, was projected in 1910 by the French architects Charles Girault (author of the Petit Palais of the Eliseos Fields of Paris) and Jules Chifflet, and there the Museum of Decorative Art works. |
